  • The Loan and Savings Cooperative “Progreso” its located in the small city of El Torno, near Santa Cruz de la Sierra, it also has two branches, one of them in the village of Mora and the other in Santa Cruz City.
  • On december 2006, the cooperative has 6.9 millions US$ in Assets and Equity equal to 6.2 millions US$.

Project:Design of Product Costing Systems, in 21 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) of the Microfinance Component - European Commission.

Project Date: March 2007 – July 2007

Product/Services supplied: Product costing for four products, two loans and two savings. The benefits of the consultant were: the product costing tool, the revision of the process, improvement of efficiency, client’s attention. There was designed a Product Costing Model, and elaborated a Final Report and a User Manual.
