  • The Savings and Loan Cooperative “Asunción” Ltda. initiated their operations on March 28 1963. The entity has a principal office located in Llallagua, and two branches. The “Cooperative Asunción”, has on December 2006 proximally US$. 5.19 millions in actual loans.
  • The consultant has the main goal to implement a Cost Information System, designed consequently the institution´s needs.

Project: Design of Product Costing Systems, in 21 Microfinance Institutions (MFI's) of the Microfinance Component - European Commission

Project Date: April 2007 – August 2007

Product/Services supplied: Product costing for four products, two loans and two savings. The benefits of the consultancy were: the product costing tool, the revision of the process, improvement of efficiency, client’s attention. There was designed a Product Costing Model, a Final Report and a User Manual.

Team (work in-situ): Two expert consultant, and one institutional counterpart.

Country: Bolivia

Project: Risk management analysis using MICROSAVE tools, market research , process mapping for Asunción LLallagua Cooperative - Bolivia.

Project Date: November 2008 – January 2009

Product/Services supplied: In 2008, the cooperative starts a transformation and improvement process according to the Banks Superintendence, to became an "open" cooperative.

In the same way, the MFI wants to strength its risk department. PPP was hired to make a diagnosis using the MICROSAVE tools.

Additional Products: Market Research Related to the studied segment, process mapping and training.
