  • The Savings and Loan Cooperative “Comarapa” Ltda. initiated their operations on July 29 1965. The entity has a principal office located in Comarapa, and four branches. The “Cooperative Comarapa”, has on July 2007 proximally US$. 3.08 millions in actual loans.
  • The consultant has the main goal to implement a Cost Information System, designed consequently the institution´s needs.

Project: Design of Product Costing Systems, in 21 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) of the Microfinance Component - European Commission

Project Date: September 2007 – November 2007

Product/Services supplied: Product costing for four products, two credits and two savings. The benefits of the consultant were: the product costing tool, the revision of the process, improvement of efficiency, client’s attention. There was designed a Product Costing Model, and elaborated a Final Report and a User Manual.
