  • Is a Bolivian Non Gubernamental Organization (NGO), with it´s principal office located in the Cochabamba city with seven branches. In February 2006, the NGO´s capital was about US$. 10.4 millions. Its Net Revenue for the year near to US$. 32 millions. In December 2005 it has 4,300 clients in La Paz city (16.5%), Cochabamba city (22%) and in Santa Cruz (61.5%). The 88% of its portfolio is distributed in loans less than US$. 5,000.

Project Details

Country: Bolivia

Project: Costing Proyect, 2003 – 2004 (11 months).

Product/Services supplied: The Project included: an exhaustive analysis of the portfolio, and the whole process of delivering the credit. The goal of the consultant was to provide models to improve the calculation of the cost of the products and the develop of a Centre of Responsibility. Also, develop of product costing for the existing products and for the future ones.

There were visited and costed all the branches for all the products. The credit products that were costed are: “Plan 1”, “Plan 3”, “Plan Microcrédito II”, “Crédito Comercial”, “Plan 4” (línea), “Caja de Ahorro” and the Fixed Deposit.

Team (work in-situ): One international consultant, two consultants for the DSF – GTZ Project, and one institutional counterpart responsible for the Internal Costs.
