Fabiana Pastor is a senior consultant for PPP srl. She was one of the founding members of PPP in 2005 and has a key role in the company ever since.
Fabiana holds an MBA degree from the Bolivian Catholic University (UCB)/Technical Assistance by the Harvard University. She has an Economics (BSC) Degree by the UCB, La Paz, Bolivia and also a Diploma in Management and Administration in Microfinance Entities.
Fabiana’s previous work experience includes working as Technical Advisor in Sectoral Development at the Financial System Development Project (DSF) of GTZ (German Technical Cooperation Agency) and the Financial System Development and Production Sector Support Fund (FONDESIF). There she was responsible for the elaboration, implementation and monitoring of Cost and Liquidity Management Models in several Microfinance Institutions. She develop the User Instruction Manuals, and the statements for the pricing of the products for every financial model implemented by the GTZ agency, elaborated and edited the Technical Bulletins for the DSF Project, and investigated actual topics of the sector. Fabiana also was a consultant in FUNDAPRO and in FINRURAL.
Over the past years as a senior consultant at PPP, Fabiana worked with approximately 30 MFIs in Latin America on the topics of Cost Management and Risk Management. In addition she is involved in structured finance projects as well as the design of a business plan for a start up MFI in a charity project. Fabiana also steers the development of an SME training and consultancy program (supported by Accion – Dialogo de Gestiones) and is closely involved in the development of valuation and risk management tools. As a General Manager, she is responsible for manageing the team of full time and short term consultant, as well as the day-to-day management of the firm.
Among the institutions of micro financing in those that she worked directly as consultant are: Cooperative San Roque, ONG AGROCAPITAL, Cooperative La Merced, FFP FASSIL, ONG ANED, ONG DIACONÍA, Cooperative San Bartolomé of Chulumani, ONG CIDRE and Cooperative San Carlos Borromeo in Bolivia, Caja Rural CREDINKA, EdPyme NUEVA VISION and Caja Municipal CMAC Huancayo in Peru, FINCA Kosovo, Fonkoze in Haiti, FUNDESER Nicaragua, Red Katalysis in Honduras, Ebomy Capital in Kenya and PRIDE Tanzania.
